About Stereo

Stereo has been at the heart of Glasgow since 2007 — a dedicated vegan bar and kitchen by day, an iconic live-music and club venue by night. Housed in a Charles Rennie Mackintosh-designed building (the former Daily Record printing works) on Renfield Lane in the City Centre, it hosts an endless variety of gigs and performances downstairs (and sometimes upstairs) through to the early hours. The bill is famously eclectic: indie, funk and rock alongside intimate acoustic shows and full-blown Balkanarama raves. A c. 300-capacity room with full backline and in-house engineer makes it a staple of Glasgow's grassroots circuit. Open noon-midnight Sun-Thu and noon-3am Thu-Sat. Both originals and covers welcome.
