The Grand Hall is Kilmarnock's largest concert room, part of the Palace Theatre and Grand Hall complex on Green Street in the town centre and billed as Ayrshire's premier entertainment venue. Originally designed by Robert Ingram to house the Kilmarnock Library and a Reading Room, it is owned by East Ayrshire Council and operated by East Ayrshire Leisure. The hall is listed at around 1,200 capacity, with a further Pillared Hall holding 250 and two art halls seating 150 each, and a full house PA and engineer. It has welcomed The View, Calvin Harris, Kevin Bridges and Billy Connolly, and hosts large-scale concerts, comedy, theatre, proms and civic events.
