The McLaren Hall is the heart of live music in Killin, the Perthshire village on the edge of Loch Tay. Each June it transforms into the main stage of the Killin Music Festival, a community-led, family-friendly event running since 2016 with workshops, sessions and fringe activities spread across the village; the 2026 line-up includes Cammy Barnes, Project Smok, Copper Lungs, Beth Malcolm and the Mad Ferret Band. Beyond the festival the hall draws touring Scottish folk and trad acts such as Peat & Diesel (a sold-out 18+ show on 29 May 2026) and Manran, making it a genuine rural gig destination rather than just a village hall.
