Galvanizers Yard is the vast outdoor performance space at SWG3, Glasgow's sprawling Clydeside arts complex on the former site of the Clydeside Galvanizers off Stobcross Road in Yorkhill. Spanning roughly 25,000 square feet, the open-air Yard holds up to 4,000 people and forms part of a multi-venue site that also includes the 1,250-capacity Galvanizers hall and the TV Studio. It has hosted major live acts and DJs including Carl Cox, The xx, Foals, The Snuts and LCD Soundsystem, as well as the Yardworks street-art festival, markets and screenings. As an outdoor arena-scale stage rather than a grassroots room, it runs full production and is hired for festivals and large touring shows rather than relying on bring-your-own equipment.
