Broadcast was a bar and basement live-music venue at 427 Sauchiehall Street in Glasgow city centre, with a gig room of roughly 160 capacity below a first-floor bar and a booking policy spanning indie, rock, electronic, alternative and DJ nights for original acts and covers alike. It ran with an in-house PA and was a long-standing fixture of the city's grassroots scene, supporting Independent Venue Week. The Sauchiehall Street room is not currently trading: the venue's own site carries a Closed due to Flooding Damage notice, the leasehold of 427 Sauchiehall Street has since passed to a new operator planning to reopen the site under a different name, and Broadcast has said it was not sold but is relocating, with a new home still to be announced. Treat this address as historic until the move is confirmed.
