Radio City Social is Chelmsford's only independent craft beer bar, brewery taproom and live music venue, set across two railway arches under the viaduct at 35 Viaduct Road, beside the town's railway station. It's the taproom for local microbrewery Radio City Beer Works, pouring 18 taps of craft beer alongside local spirits, cider, wine and mead. The arches double as an events space dedicated to rock and metal: live bands, metal nights, quizzes, games and Oktoberfest-style theme nights. The venue co-hosts Beneath The Arches, a multi-venue rock and heavy-metal festival run with Hot Box Live Events. It's a raw, alternative room at the heart of Chelmsford's grassroots scene.
