Hylands Park is the parkland of the historic Hylands Estate on London Road, Chelmsford, Essex (CM2 8WQ) — a Grade II listed neo-classical house set in around 574 acres of landscaped grounds. The park is one of Essex's premier outdoor concert and festival sites, with a long live-music heritage through Chelmsford City Council's partnership with Festival Republic: it hosted V Festival from 1996 to 2017, Creamfields South in 2022–23, and from June 2026 the new State Fayre camping festival, a c. 30,000-capacity music-and-BBQ weekender headlined by the likes of Kings of Leon, Neil Young and The Lumineers across three main stages. Programming spans rock, country, folk, Americana, pop and dance, performed on temporary open-air stages.
