The Croft is a beloved grassroots pub and music venue at 117-119 Stokes Croft, Bristol (BS1 3RW). Established in 2000, it famously gave early stages to Arctic Monkeys, Bastille, Ed Sheeran, Idles and Bring Me The Horizon. It closed in July 2024 (latterly trading as The Crofters Rights) but reopened in 2025 under community ownership after Music Venues Properties — the Community Benefit Society set up by Music Venues Trust — bought the building and brought the original team and name back. It runs an intimate c. 140-capacity live room plus a 250-capacity club space, programming indie, rock, punk and alternative touring and emerging acts.
