The Three Crowns is a traditional pub at 18 The Causeway in Chippenham, a short walk from the town centre and the River Avon. The building dates back to the 1700s and is run by White Horse Taverns with a community focus, pouring local Wiltshire ales, craft beers, cider and perry. It hosts the town's longest-standing monthly open mic, run by local host Runny Snotts, and is used to accommodating acoustic and amplified performers in its bar alongside booked acts such as Oley, Bradley Cowtan, Mike Morrisey's Free Spirits Band and Stu Joslin. It is an accessible, low-pressure room for first-time performers in north Wiltshire, open from 4pm on weekdays and from noon at weekends.
