A 2015 refurbishment installed retractable tiered theatre seating, giving the auditorium a total capacity of 217 in either a flat-floor or raked configuration. The Neeld brings a varied cultural life to the town with professional touring shows, live music, comedy, theatre, exhibitions and community events, supported by proper theatre-standard staging, lighting and sound.
