The Night
The Old Grindstone is a friendly Crookes local at 3 Crookes (S10 1UA), but its current What's On is karaoke (second Friday), live jazz and blues (third Thursday, 9.30pm) and a Sunday quiz — there's no recurring open mic running here at the moment. If that changes it's worth checking their Facebook, but we can't point performers at an open stage today.
About The Old Grindstone
The Old Grindstone is a fun, quirky pub in Crookes, Sheffield (S10), serving real ales, craft beer and American-inspired food. Its music calendar centres on live jazz and blues on the third Thursday of every month from 9.30pm, alongside monthly pub-wide karaoke on the second Friday, a Sunday quiz from 8pm and a monthly karaoke bottomless brunch. The pub also spins weekend tunes and has a pool table, giving Crookes a lively neighbourhood hub.
