About This Open Mic
The Night
The Attic is a live music venue and comedy club at River Studios in Totton, just outside Southampton. Its open mic and jam night runs on the last Thursday of every month — arrive for 7pm and the music kicks off at 7.30pm, wrapping up around 10pm. Singers and musicians of all levels are welcome, and under-18s can perform at the start of the evening. About The Attic Southampton
The Attic is a comedy club and live-music venue at 32 Winsor Road in Totton, on the western edge of Southampton. Billed as one of Hampshire's major live-music rooms, it hosts gigs across a huge spread of genres — pop, rock, hip-hop, indie, soul, ska, reggae, blues and jazz — alongside a strong stand-up comedy programme that has drawn names like Milton Jones, Nick Helm, Paul Foot and Ria Lina, plus a 'Comedy Rodeo' every third Wednesday. For performers, Southampton's open mic and jam night runs on the last Thursday of the month, 7pm–10pm. The venue has a fully staffed licensed bar and a PA in place, and welcomes both original material and covers.
