The Night
The Albion Tavern is a friendly, recently refurbished pub a short walk east of Farnham town centre, serving Caribbean food alongside English pub classics — and 'Sam's Open Mic' runs here every Thursday, 8pm till 11pm. Live music is always free, both to play and to watch, and there's a PA set up ready for whoever fancies a turn. Expect a relaxed, sociable crowd with a sports area, pool and darts close by. 2 Hale Road, Farnham, GU9 9QH.
About The Albion
The Albion Tavern is a traditional pub on the edge of Farnham town at 2 Hale Road, refurbished in March 2025 with a dedicated sports area (Sky Sports and TNT on big screens), a dining section and a stylish lounge, plus a pool table and digital darts. It serves Caribbean food alongside English pub classics. On the music side it's a genuinely active small-room spot (around 60 capacity): an open-mic night every Thursday, regular live music and karaoke, with upcoming gigs carried on the Lemonrock gig guide, plus a fortnightly quiz and bingo. A welcoming grassroots stage for acoustic and covers acts in Farnham.
