The Night
Jubes Open Mic is a fortnightly Wednesday session at Guildford Jubilee Social Club, a friendly family social club on Stocton Close. It runs from 7pm with a standard band set-up provided — PA, microphones and a drum kit — and welcomes a genuinely wide spread of styles, from acoustic, folk and blues through rock, jazz, funk, hip-hop and reggae to electronic, comedy, sea shanties and musical theatre. Entry is free and it's a walk-up format, so you can just turn up and play.
