About Cellar 35
Cellar 35 (also listed as The Cellar) is an independent live-music venue on Rosemount Viaduct in Aberdeen's city centre, a basement room next door to — and run alongside — the Noose & Monkey, with its own entrance and bar. It's a beloved, intimate spot of around 80 capacity, with no backstage area so the crowd can mix directly with the bands. A free open mic runs every week (Wednesdays at 20:00, sign-up from 19:30, 12-minute slots), and the room hosts a regular programme of gigs across rock, indie and alternative acts. A genuine grassroots stage at the heart of the Rosemount scene.
