The Workshop
DIY punk and hardcore space in Glasgow's East End, artist-run and all ages welcome. The Workshop is a 150-capacity volunteer-operated venue in a converted industrial unit — no frills, no pretension, and no age restrictions. Punk, hardcore, post-punk, noise, emo, screamo, and anything too loud or too weird for anywhere else. Weekly gigs Friday and Saturday, monthly all-dayer "The Forge" showcasing Glasgow's underground scene. All ages, BYOB (no bar), pay-what-you-can door policy. Run as a collective — all money goes back into the space. Ten minutes from Glasgow Queen Street station and the Barras.
