Metal and hardcore haven in Sheffield's Kelham Island — The Foundry II is a 300-capacity standing venue purpose-built for heavy music. Raw concrete, steel beams, full backline provided, and a barrier-free stage that puts bands right in the mosh pit. Weekly live metal Thursday to Saturday — thrash, death metal, hardcore, doom, sludge, and the occasional grindcore bill. Monthly "Hammer & Tongs" all-dayer showcasing unsigned Sheffield heavy bands. The room has hosted early shows from some of the UK's heaviest touring acts. Full backline provided, late licence until 2am, and a bar that only serves pints. Five minutes from Kelham Island tram stop and Shalesmoor station.
