How do I sign in with a passkey?

A passkey lets you sign in with Face ID, your fingerprint or your device PIN instead of typing your password. It works in your web browser at gigxchange.app, on your phone or your computer - passkeys are not in the GigXchange iPhone and Android apps yet.

To add one: open Settings, then Security. In the How you sign in card, choose Add a passkey and follow your device's prompt. Your phone, computer or password manager saves it.

To sign in with it: on the sign-in page, choose Sign in with a passkey. Some browsers also suggest your passkey when you tap the email box.

Passkeys usually sync between your own devices through iCloud Keychain, Google or your password manager. If one does not show up on another device, add a passkey there too.

If you have two-factor authentication turned on, we still ask for your 6-digit code after a passkey sign-in.

Your password, and Google or Apple sign-in, keep working. To remove a passkey, go back to the How you sign in card and choose Remove next to it.
