Nantwich Civic Hall has been the beating heart of live entertainment in this Cheshire market town since it opened on 1st December 1951. Sitting at 4 Market Street, the Grade-listed building's Main Hall seats and stands up to 500 people and runs the full spectrum of events — from community socials and keep-fit classes through to opera, stage shows, tribute acts and touring bands. It's the headline venue for the annual Nantwich Jazz, Blues & Music Festival, one of the biggest grassroots music weekends in the North West. The Main Hall has a large stage with a backstage area, two changing rooms and WCs, a full lighting rig, and professional sound and lighting technicians available on request. A second, more intimate space, the Peggy Killick Suite, is also available for hire. Run by Nantwich Town Council, it's a genuine multi-purpose civic venue rather than a dedicated music club, so the gig diary sits alongside markets, fairs and private functions.
