The ‌‌‍Rigger is Stoke-on-Trent's leading rock and metal venue, an award-winning small independent live music space and arts venue on Marsh Parade in Newcastle-under-Lyme (ST5 1BT). With a capacity of around 200, it programmes weekly live shows that span local and touring bands across rock, metal, punk, grunge and tribute acts, alongside comedy, poetry and spoken word, burlesque and cultural events. A typical Friday or Saturday night puts at least three bands on the stage for a minimal entrance fee that goes straight to supporting the acts, making it a genuine grassroots hub for the Staffordshire and Stoke music scene.
