The White Lion is a Grade II listed heritage pub on London Road in Heeley, Sheffield, trading as a public house since 1781 and famed across the city as one of its best rooms for live music. Behind the richly tiled, glazed-green-brick facade and cosy fireplace snugs sits a sizeable back room that doubles as the stage, where jam sessions and local bands play free most nights of the week (live music every night except Wednesday, which is quiz night).
