The Rifle Club is a friendly members' club in Whitby that warmly welcomes visitors, with live music on most Saturday evenings throughout the year from 9pm until midnight and a small cover charge of 2 pounds on music nights. Performers lean towards easy-listening, folk and acoustic sets spanning the Sixties through to the modern era, well suited to dancing, and the club has previously hosted touring folk artists such as Ewan McLennan and Jim Causley. The bar opens from 7pm until 1am, alongside quiz nights, bingo and traditional bar games.
