Riverside Studios is a landmark arts centre on the north bank of the Thames at 101 Queen Caroline Street, Hammersmith (W6 9BN) — not generic 'London'. The original building opened in 1976 and, after a full redevelopment, the current site reopened in August 2019 with a cinema, TV studio, two performance studios, a restaurant, bar and café. Studio 1 seats up to 400 end-on for larger shows and screenings, while Studio 3 is an intimate space for smaller productions. Across its history it has hosted Amy Winehouse, David Bowie, Yoko Ono and Samuel Beckett; today its live-music strand runs to jazz, world, bossa-nova tributes and acoustic sets in a fully staffed, professionally equipped room.
