Jack ‌‌‍Solomons Club is a speakeasy-style jazz and cocktail bar hidden beneath Soho at 41 Great Windmill Street (W1D 7NB) — on the site of legendary 1940s–50s boxing promoter Jack Solomons' old gym. Reach the basement by ringing the bell behind an after-hours deli; inside, a large subterranean room is decked out with shaded velvet, red leather walls and mirrored infinity lights. Live music runs through the week: the Piano Bar (Red Room Studio) on Wednesdays and Fridays 7.30–10pm, and the Jack Solomons Jazz Club every Thursday from 6.30pm till late, with tickets from £10 and walk-ins welcome on the door.
