The Harrison is a friendly independent pub in the back streets of King's Cross, central London, with an intimate basement music room that hosts gigs most nights of the week. The roughly 60-capacity basement runs a good house PA and lights (plus a small live studio) and programmes an eclectic spread — psych-folk to experimental electronica, hard-bop jazz to garage rock — alongside spoken word, poetry, comedy and cinema, with both UK and international artists. Upstairs there's a proper £5-pint pub with food and four hotel rooms. A much-loved London grassroots room (it has previously run save-the-venue crowdfunders) that punches well above its size.
