The Clapham Grand is a Grade II listed former music hall on St John's Hill near Clapham Junction in Battersea, South London, first opened in 1900 as The New Grand Theatre of Varieties. Today it works as a 1,250-capacity (727 seated) live music venue, nightclub, theatre and event space, billing itself as London's Palace of Modern Variety. The September 2026 diary alone spans a Frank Turner benefit show (5 Sep), Belgian composer Wim Mertens (10 Sep) and the sold-out Riot Cabaret Wrestling (28 Aug), which sums up the mix of gigs, club nights and variety the room is known for. One of the capital's best-loved mid-size rooms.
