The main hall seats 522 on retractable bleacher seating (up to 6 wheelchair spaces), and the room reconfigures for standing, cabaret and exhibition layouts, so maximum capacity varies with the setup. It carries a professional stage lighting and sound system, hearing loop and comfort cooling. The programme mixes touring live music - folk (Steeleye Span), brass (Grimethorpe Colliery Band), tribute shows - with comedy, theatre and the annual pantomime, plus the Sock Gallery for visual arts.
