Norden ‌‌‍Farm Centre for the Arts is Maidenhead's only purpose-built entertainment venue, opened in autumn 2000 on the site of a former dairy farm off Altwood Road in the Altwood / Boyn Hill area of the town (Berkshire). It's a genuine multi-arts hub: a 220-seat main auditorium for live performance and film, a 96-seat studio theatre, an art gallery, café bar, a Georgian farmhouse and an 18th-century Long Barn, with more than 80 on-site parking spaces. The music programme spans jazz, international blues artists on UK tours, folk, bluegrass and world-class tribute acts, and the venue holds a Steinway piano and regularly hosts award-winning classical musicians. Alongside gigs it runs comedy, cinema and a busy community arts programme.
