Excellar (Ex Cellar Wine) is a wine shop, wine bar and bistro rolled into one at 18-20 Brighton Road, Surbiton (KT6 5PQ), inside the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames. It serves food and drink seven days a week and has run intimate live music in the Surbiton store since 2018 - chiefly jazz, blues, funk, soul and original singer-songwriters in a small seated room, with doors at 7pm and the performance at 8pm. The Ex Cellar Jazz series brings touring names alongside local performers: the autumn 2026 diary includes Jess Hayes of Connolly Hayes (24 September), Stefan Redtenbacher's Funkestra (18 September), Stevie Watts (29 October), Red Hot Rhythm Revival (31 October) and Will James (26 November).
