Its upstairs live room holds around 60 and fills up fast, hosting multiple shows a week and acting as a launchpad for emerging local rock, indie, alternative and punk acts. Known for its energetic atmosphere and a well-regarded vegan menu downstairs, it's a much-loved fixture of Brighton's grassroots scene — Music Venue Properties launched a community share offer in 2025 to buy the building and safeguard it for the long term.
