Its dark-wood interior with lead-lined windows is so well preserved it features on CAMRA's National Inventory of Historic Pub Interiors as a Two Star interior of very special national historic interest. Behind the heritage it bills itself as a 'Pub and Music Venue', with live music on Saturdays, eight real ales on the bar, two snug rooms either side of a medium-sized bar, and a pool room upstairs.
