The Kings Head sits inside Huddersfield's Grade I-listed railway station on St George's Square (HD1 1JF) — a beautifully restored station bar of tiled floors, wood panelling and wood-burning stoves that has won a railway heritage award. It is a CAMRA-listed real-ale house with three permanent and seven rotating beers and ciders. Live music runs every Sunday afternoon, featuring a rotating bill of popular local bands and established touring rock acts, with a reliable PA in place. Open mornings to late (Mon-Sat 11:30am-11pm, Sun noon-9:30pm), it pairs a strong cask-ale reputation with a dependable weekly live-music slot.
