The Platform is Morecambe's main music and entertainment venue, set inside the beautifully restored old Promenade Railway Station on the Central Promenade (LA4 4DB) and run by Lancaster City Council. It has been at the heart of the town for nearly 120 years and now hosts a strong touring programme that spans rock, jazz, blues, folk, world music and classical, alongside comedy and community events. The slug and stored city say London, but this is firmly a Lancashire venue on Morecambe seafront — the Rezillos date that surfaced it is one of its regular touring gigs (17 October 2026).
