The Chemic Tavern is a historic real-ale pub in the heart of Woodhouse, just north of Leeds city centre, established in the 1840s and open seven nights a week. Music is woven through the week — traditional folk on Wednesdays, regular Scottish and old-time sessions on Sundays, plus open mic nights and appearances at the Leeds Jazz Festival. Its Tap Room hosts live performances and community gatherings, making it a much-loved grassroots folk room.
