Stroud Brewery's taproom sits along the canal in Brimscombe and runs a genuinely buzzing community music calendar. There's a free open mic on the first Tuesday of the month, a monthly Community Jam with a full drum kit, keyboard and two amps provided so you can just plug in and play, plus the Five Valleys Folk Session for Irish and Scottish folk and an informal Wednesday-morning acoustic jam.
