This is the long-running Monday-night Blues & Jazz Jam held downstairs at The Spice of Life, 6 Moor Street, Soho, London (W1D 5NA) — a classic Soho pub basement five minutes' walk from Tottenham Court Road. The jam runs every Monday from 8pm (doors 7:30pm), hosted by Dove Jones & the Connection, and is open to seasoned musicians and brave amateurs alike, sharing the stage in turn. Entry is £7 online in advance or £9 on the door, with musicians getting in free; the bar serves normal pub drinks and classic pub food. A welcoming, no-frills room for blues and jazz players to sit in.
