Filthy's is a grassroots music venue in City Centre, Newcastle. Full backline is on stage including drum kit, guitar amp, bass amp, PA and vocal mics, plus an in-house sound engineer — so you can travel light.
Filthy's is a late-night bar on the Bigg Market in Newcastle city centre (NE1) with live music every night of the week. Its weekly Tuesday open mic — hosted by local musician Connor Pattison — gives every musician who plays a free pint; the stage sits towards the back but is visible from almost anywhere inside, kitted out with lighting and a mixer, and a guitar, cajón, PA, mixer and vocal mic are all provided (bring your own gear if you prefer). Mondays and Wednesdays bring more live music with drinks offers, weekends see resident DJs spinning indie, rock and acoustic alongside live musicians, and Sundays are industry nights with live music and deals. Open 7pm–3am most nights (from 5pm Fri, 1pm Sat).
