About This Open Mic
The Night
Held in the Cafe Space at Wycombe Arts Centre, this monthly open mic runs on the second Friday from 7:30pm to 10:30pm and is genuinely multi-disciplinary — music, stand-up comedy, poetry, dance and more all welcome. Each performer gets three songs or a 10-15 minute spot, with sign-up on the day. A friendly community arts setting rather than a pub night.
About Wycombe Arts Centre
Wycombe Arts Centre is a community arts hub in St John's Church Buildings on Desborough Road, and its open mic night is one of the friendliest around. Held on the second Friday of every month from 7:30 to 10:30pm, it welcomes everything from music and stand-up comedy to poetry and dance, with covers and originals of all genres encouraged. The night is run by local performers and sound engineers, you just sign up on the night, and there's no need to book a slot in advance.
