The Night
The Rum Shack is a vibrant Caribbean bar, kitchen and gig venue on Pollokshaws Road in Glasgow's Southside. Its weekly open mic, 'Once Upon a Time in the South', runs every Wednesday from 8pm to 11pm in the dancehall — free entry, no tickets, hosted by Kenneth Noah Blair and Julen Santamaria, over-18s only. It's a friendly, music-led room (the same space also runs a separate comedy open mic), so there's a steady stream of local talent passing through.
