About This Open Mic
The Night
The Glass Bucket is a small, locally run and gay-friendly pub in Dundee city centre on St Andrew's Street, cosy with wooden tables and soft lighting. Thursday is open mic night — anyone can sing or play an instrument, and the room is famously supportive, with everyone cheering each performer on. A warm, low-key weekly slot, and the June Pride celebrations are a real highlight.

About The Glass Bucket
The Glass Bucket is a small, locally run, queer-friendly bar at 22 St Andrew's Street in Dundee city centre, revived under its historic former name after the old Abode bar closed (taken over by Craig Ormond-Campbell and Fraser Marr). It pairs an expertly crafted drinks menu of craft beers, fine wines and creative cocktails with a lively events calendar: live-music events, weekly quiz nights, karaoke and open-mic nights, plus screened sport and themed evenings - and its June Pride celebrations are a standout. Open Monday to Thursday 1pm-midnight and Friday to Sunday 1pm-1am.
