The Night

The Flour & Flagon is a bakery-themed bar on Oxford Road in Manchester, and Bread Records runs its open mic in the venue's stage area (The Bread Shed) every Monday from 7:30pm til late. It's an inclusive, all-artists night — musicians, poets and spoken-word performers all welcome — with lovely supportive audiences. About The Flour and Flagon

The Flour & Flagon sits on Grosvenor Street along Manchester's Oxford Road corridor, an inclusive student-leaning pub split between a cosy bar and its adjoining stage and club room, The Bread Shed. The Bread Shed hosts live music, club nights, comedy and open-mic nights, making it a regular fixture on the city's grassroots gig circuit. A relaxed, well-located spot close to the university campuses.
