About This Open Mic
The Night
The Flour & Flagon is a bakery-themed bar on Oxford Road in Manchester, and Bread Records runs its open mic in the venue's stage area (The Bread Shed, reached through the pub on Grosvenor Street) every Monday from 7:30pm til late. It's an inclusive, all-artists night — musicians, poets and spoken-word performers all welcome — with lovely supportive audiences. To grab a slot, message host Michael Webster directly or email michael@breadrecords.co.uk, and walk-in slots are available on the night too. Free to come down.
About The Flour and Flagon
The Flour & Flagon sits on Grosvenor Street along Manchester's Oxford Road corridor, an inclusive student-leaning pub split between a cosy bar and its adjoining stage and club room, The Bread Shed. The Bread Shed hosts live music, club nights, comedy and open-mic nights, making it a regular fixture on the city's grassroots gig circuit.
