About The Engine Shed
The Engine Shed is Lincoln's largest live music and entertainment venue, sited on the University of Lincoln campus at Brayford Pool (LN6 7TS) in a renovated, disused railway engine shed. With a full standing capacity in excess of 1,800 it is one of the most versatile spaces in Lincolnshire, hosting touring bands, club nights, comedy and student events across rock, indie, pop and alternative bills. Run by the University of Lincoln Students' Union, it has a full in-house PA, lighting and sound crew and a busy 2026 programme. Existing data understated the capacity (it had listed 250) — corrected here to reflect the venue's real scale.
