About Stomping Ground Coffee
Stomping Ground Coffee (branded 'Stomp') is a family-run neighbourhood coffee shop at 15 Shaw Road in the Heaton Moor area of Stockport (Greater Manchester), known for its Scandinavian-inspired interior of pale wood floors and dark-blue accents. Beyond specialty coffee, it doubles as a small grassroots music spot, hosting an Open Mic Night on fortnightly Mondays that welcomes acoustic acts, singer-songwriters and players of all abilities. A house PA is provided and both originals and covers are welcome, making it a cosy ~60-capacity hub for Stockport's local talent.
