About Royal Oak, Scotby
The Royal Oak in Scotby, just outside Carlisle, is a village pub that was fully refurbished and reopened in 2019 and now runs a friendly open mic night hosted by the Brampton Reivers. You can sing, play, tell jokes, read stories or simply listen and join in — no booking needed. Alongside the music there's hearty traditional pub food made with local produce and a well-stocked bar of local ales, wines and spirits.
