About This Open Mic
The Night
A weekly Wednesday open mic from 8pm to 10pm, branded PIP Open Mic, at O'Connor's on Warwick Street, Worthing's Irish bar on the pedestrianised Warwick Street. Entry is free and it is open to musicians, singers, songwriters and performers doing both originals and covers. This is a newly relaunched night, so it is worth checking the venue's listings before travelling.
About O'Connor's On Warwick Street
O'Connor's on Warwick Street is Worthing's only Irish bar, in the heart of town at 25 Warwick Street (the former Warwick, refurbished in 2021). It hosts live music and DJs every weekend, spanning foot-stomping Irish classics through to the latest party tunes, and runs regular open mic nights via Blue Sky Music — a dedicated stage area, plenty of seating, no need to pre-book a slot: turn up, play three songs, then go on the reserve list, with the night often ending with as many musicians on stage as possible. It also stages charity open mics. Around 80 standing, with a house PA, guitar amp and keys available; both originals and covers welcome. Phone 01903 206088.
