The Night
Maggie's Rock 'n' Rodeo is a country-and-rock themed bar on Trongate — mechanical bull, line dancing, late licence until 3am — and its 'Rock The Mic' open mic runs every Wednesday from 10pm with resident host Ellis Hurley. It's a properly late-night affair built for jamming, with a free drink for everyone who performs, so expect a loose, rowdy, rock-leaning crowd rather than a hushed listening room. A fun one if you want to plug in late and let rip.

About Maggies Rock n Rodeo
Maggie's Rock n Rodeo is Glasgow's original country bar, in the heart of the Merchant City at 60 Trongate (G1 5EP) and open since 2006. Taking its cue from Nashville's dive bars, it runs live music and late openings until 3am, with a packed events roster: Cowboy Ceilidhs (every Friday from 6pm and Saturday from 3pm, with a line-dancing lesson and live country from Maggie's house band), One Night in Tennessee, Rodeo Riders, Hoe-K-Oke and more, plus a mechanical bull. The kitchen serves all-American classics alongside an extensive cocktail menu and local and US beers.
