About This Open Mic
The Night
Delmonicas, the long-standing Merchant City gay bar at 68 Virginia Street, used to host a weekly Monday open-mic night, but it is no longer running. Open Mic Finder confirms the night has stopped, with the last verified details dating back to early 2022. The bar itself is still very much open and busy with drag, karaoke and DJ nights seven evenings a week — just not a recurring open mic. If you hear it has restarted, it's worth contacting the venue directly to confirm.
About Delmonicas
Delmonica's is one of Glasgow's most iconic LGBTQ+ venues, open since 1991 and tucked into the Merchant City at 68 Virginia Street. Open seven days a week — from relaxed Sunday sessions at 12:30pm to Friday and Saturday marathons running until 1am — it pairs an unmissable party atmosphere with affordable drinks, fun cocktails and hand-finished pizzas. The entertainment calendar mixes live music (starting from 3pm on key days), the famous weekly GAG drag show, karaoke and DJ sets, making it a lively, inclusive cornerstone of Glasgow's nightlife rather than a strict band-gig room.
