The Night
Coolings is an independent cocktail bar and restaurant just off the High Street on Gandy Street, and one of Exeter's most thriving little music venues. Its open mic runs every Thursday from 7:30pm to 10pm, hosted by singer Nikita Louise, who packs the room with live musicians from around Devon. Entry is free and you can book a table on their website — expect a buzzy, supportive crowd, cocktails and pizza alongside the music.
About Coolings Gandy Street
Coolings is an independent city-centre cocktail bar and restaurant at 11 Gandy Street, just off Exeter High Street (EX4 3LS). The home of bottomless brunch, grazing, pizza, cocktails and live music, it runs a Thursday open mic night hosted by Nikita Louise featuring free-entry live musicians from around Devon, plus a monthly karaoke night and other live sessions. A hidden underground Cellar bar sits beneath it. With an in-house PA, Coolings is a welcoming grassroots stage for acoustic and singer-songwriter acts.
