The Night
The Bath Cider House on Bladud Buildings (The Paragon) is a characterful cider pub pouring house ciders straight from 500-litre tanks, and on the first Tuesday of every month it hosts an open jam night. Hosted by Drew Neirin, it's a bring-anything affair — 'grab your guitar, flute, cajon or vuvuzela and head down' — with free pizza thrown in to keep the players fed. It's a relaxed, walk-in jam rather than a structured slot night, so just turn up with an instrument and join in.

Bath Cider House sits at 7 Bladud Buildings on the Paragon in central Bath (BA1 5LS), a Young & Co.'s Brewery pub built around craft cider in all its forms — from crisp Somerset traditionals to modern craft pours — plus big, generously topped sharing pizzas. On the music side it runs a monthly 'Jam Night' open mic on the first Tuesday of each month, hosted by Drew Neirin, where players bring a guitar, flute, cajon or whatever they've got for an open jam, with free pizza thrown in. The rest of the week mixes DJs, live sport, background beats and a pub quiz. It welcomes originals and covers on a house PA — a relaxed, food-and-cider-led open-mic spot rather than a dedicated gig room.
