The Night
The Apple & Parrot is a full-time live music venue on Torquay's harbourside Strand, hosting booked bands and gigs throughout the week on its in-house PA — it's been the home of live music in Torbay since 2010. Its open-mic-style night, Jukebox Night Live, announced it is no longer running at the venue, and no current recurring open mic is advertised in the venue's 2026 listings — check the Apple & Parrot's Facebook or Instagram for the latest before travelling with an instrument.
About Apple & Parrot
The Apple & Parrot has been the home of live music in Torbay since 2010 — a friendly three-level pub just off Torquay harbour, opposite the clock tower, with a stage in the lower bar and a resident house parrot. It's Torquay's main full-time live music venue, running an in-house PA and a busy gig calendar of rock, indie, punk and touring bands (past acts include Black Foxxes, The Computers, Beans on Toast and Reigning Days), plus covers and Sky/TNT sports. Excellent ciders and a refreshed booking system make it a cornerstone of the local grassroots scene.
